There is no build fee. You start paying the month the site goes live.
Most web designers ask for a few thousand dollars before a single page exists, then hand you a file and disappear. Here the design is part of the plan, not a separate invoice. You see a working demo first, and if it is right, it goes live and the monthly rate begins.

A new site designed from scratch. Page structure, layout, typography, colour, imagery and mobile behaviour, from the first sketch through launch on a live domain.
You have one that is not working
A rebuild of your existing site with an updated layout, current standards and better navigation. Your content and pages carry across, and so does your domain.

The design work, in every plan
On a rebuild, your content, domain and search history carry across, redirects included. There is no migration charge.
Keeping it online
The hosting side of the rate. These are the things that should be invisible when they are working.
Security
The padlock in the address bar, and protection that keeps the site from being tampered with.
Backups
Regular copies kept off the server. A bad day is a restore, not a rebuild.
Maintenance
Updates, link checks, form testing, renewals. You never hear about it, which is the point.
Business email
Email at your own domain instead of a personal address.
Someone to call
Changes, whenever
Send a message saying what needs to change, and it gets changed. That is the whole process. Summer hours in May, winter hours in November, a closure after the holidays.

The monthly rate covers the design, the hosting, the search work and the support as one arrangement, and the site stays live for as long as your plan is active. Your domain, your content and your Google Business Profile stay registered in your name. Nothing is billed separately and nothing is billed up front.
